WASP Congressional Gold Medal

Thanks to so many peoples' hard work and efforts, my parents did get to go to Washington D.C. to accept the Congressional Gold Medal for my grandmother Eleanor Patterson Brady, who was a WASP during WWII.

They were personally escorted to and from the event by Senator McCaskill's staff, using all the cool secret underground tunnels beneath the White House.  They got to personally meet Senator McCaskill and Congressman Moore.

And of course, what's a trip to D.C. with my Dad without a trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  They also were able to meet up with and have dinner with my Aunt Mary and Dad's cousin Carol and Ferrell.

Once again, a HUGE thanks to everyone that took a little time out of their busy lives to write a letter.  Our entire family really appreciates it and were so honored for the chance to go and represent my grandmother.

Congressman Moore
